Rama Adi Nugraha

I'm Rama, an Informatics graduate from Universitas Ciputra and a fullstack developer with a long-running interest in building tools that feel considered. I was part of the Apple Developer Academy 2024 Cohort, where I spent the year shipping iOS apps with Swift and SwiftUI under Apple's challenge-based learning framework. These days I work as a contract generalist developer at eesel.ai, where I build across their AI helpdesk and productivity offerings for a wide range of services.

On the web side, I've worked extensively with the TALL stack (Tailwind, Alpine, Laravel, Livewire). These days my primary tools outside of that are React and Python, with Vue and Golang in the background when the project calls for it. Most of my recent work sits at the intersection of AI tooling and product engineering: designing agentic workflows, integrating LLMs into user-facing products, and thinking carefully about where automation helps and where it gets in the way.

In 2023 I was awarded the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA), which brought me to Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, the only student from Universitas Ciputra selected that year. More than the academic side, it was an invaluable chance to step outside my usual circles and outside of Indonesia, and it deepened a drive I already had to stay close to what's new: new research, new tools, new ways of thinking about what software can do.

AI is the obvious example right now, and yes, I follow it enthusiastically. But working with these systems daily at eesel has given me a more grounded view than most: there's genuine capability here, and there's also a lot of opportunism dressed up as progress. I try to hold both. If you're deep in the hype and want something more honest, or if you just want to talk seriously about where this is actually heading, I'm always up for that conversation, professionally or otherwise.
